A single-spool turbojet digital twin: station-by-station Brayton thermodynamics you can fly with the sticks. Built for design intuition, graded honest.
Ideal-gas Brayton with cold/hot γ split and component efficiencies. No CFD, no spool inertia, no CEA tables. Streamlines and the casing silhouette are illustrative (colored by local station T from the live solve). FOSS lineage: NovaTurbo MIT Brayton (Noyron-inspired). Noyron itself is proprietary and is not in this box.
| Station | T₀ (K) | P₀ (kPa) | V (m/s) |

Throttle schedules air mass flow and turbine inlet temperature together (idle TIT → design TIT). Altitude uses an ISA approximation to 20 km. Change a stick; the twin re-solves immediately. Sound prefers NASA recorded jet + fan-tone loops (see attribution), mixed from both rotors / spool ω. Synth fallback if samples fail.
Provenance. Cycle solver ported from
NovaTurbo AI brayton.py (MIT),
inspired by LEAP 71’s Noyron architecture. Geometry kernel FOSS from LEAP is
PicoGK (Apache-2.0), not wired here yet.
Next fidelity lane: pyCycle / CEA tabular.
